Tasting
A strong Grenache Noir blend, combined with Syrah, gives this cuvée a beautiful, intense garnet color with brilliant highlights. The nose is rich, with lovely notes of fresh red fruit and Morello cherry, mingled with spicy notes of clove, as well as hints of garrigue and thyme. The palate is full-bodied, with smooth, rounded tannins that support a fleshy and rich mid-palate; the finish is persistent, with notes of sweet spice and red fruit.

“A striking nose of bay leaf and black pepper, with an abundance of cherry and wild berry notes. Despite its 14.5% alcohol, it remains fresh and concentrated with elegant dry tannins and a host of long, mineral and herbal notes, culminating in a very fresh finish.”

“Enjoyable from start to finish, we love the lively and straightforward nose, with its crisp red fruits tinged with a touch of garrigue. The charm of this ‘villages’ wine also comes from its supple, luscious palate, endowed with an appealing sweetness and supported by discreet tannins. A digestible and flavorful red, already at its peak.”

It’s perfect, very smooth on the palate, with spices and fruitiness. A very interesting surprise with the power of the finish and the lightness of the texture. I highly recommend it for a meal.
