Vineyard & winemaking

  • Vignoble & vinificationBlend: 70% Grenache Noir, 20% Syrah, 5% Cinsault and 5% Mourvèdre
  • Area: 6 hectares at the foot of the southern slope of the Uchaux Massif
  • Average age of the vines: 45 years
  • Soil: sandy, derived from siliceous-calcareous sandstone
  • Methods and winemaking: Harvesting of grapes by grape variety separately. Destemming, crushing, maceration for approximately 8-10 days at 21-26°C. Daily pump-overs for the first 5 days. After an initial winter spent in cold concrete tanks, the different grape varieties are blended. Light filtration and bottling in June.

DégustationThis wine has a lovely deep purple color with vibrant highlights. The nose is intense, marked by notes of cherry, plum, and dark fruit. The palate is supple and velvety, with a beautiful freshness and lovely aromas of fresh red fruit. The finish offers a long, lingering finish with balanced, silky tannins, resulting in a refined, easy-drinking, and crisp wine.

This fine Rhône wine will accompany a rib of beef as well as a daube, a pot au feu, a ratatouille provençale or fine local charcuterie.
